Jordan Barber

An Oregon native, Jordan is thrilled to return to his home state to be closer to his family and the mountains. Jordan's introduction to the world of Physical Therapy came after a bike accident that left him with chronic lower back pain. Fueled by a profound love for anatomy and movement, Jordan saw this setback as an opportunity to explore the transformative power of physical therapy. Driven to understand the body's resilience and capacity for healing, he embarked on a journey that led him to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. His treatment philosophy involves tapping into each individual's capacity and strength. Grounded in traditional manual therapy techniques, he continuously seeks to expand his toolkit, and he is currently integrating Fascial Counterstrain into his practice, recognizing its utility in enhancing the rehabilitation process and providing holistic healing. He enjoys working with a wide range of patients with orthopedic and neurological concerns.

Prior to his calling to Physical Therapy, he lived all over the map, including several places along the West Coast, Brooklyn, NY, and Copenhagen, Denmark. He worked in coffee wholesale as a trainer, taster, and a bike messenger on the side). He enjoys mountain biking (and racing), coffee, camping, fly fishing, and cooking when not at work.
