Rich Hummel L.M.T., C.S.C.S. is a licensed massage therapist and a nationally-recognized certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has over 20 years of experience in the health field. In addition to massage, he provides an amazing depth of knowledge in the areas of exercise, coaching, rehabilitation and conditioning. Rich brings his understanding of human movement and physical training to the massage table, where he excels at identifying limitations in structural integrity in the fascial and muscular systems. Specializing in deep tissue, therapeutic massage, pre- and post- sports massage, Rich educates his clients on how to self-manage their conditions with therapeutic exercise and stretching.
After playing varsity soccer for Pacific Lutheran University from 1988-92, Rich was an NAIA All-American goal keeper in 1992. He continues to play soccer at a high level on Bend's semi-pro soccer team, "the Steelheaders." Rich teaches Spin classes twice a week and still finds time to occasionally compete on road and off road as a racing cyclist. Rich enjoys the outdoors-climbing mountain peaks and fishing rivers and lakes that surround this area. Rich and his wife Beth have a son and two daughters and are proud to call Sisters Country home.
