Marlene Dumas

Marlene is an experienced manual therapist, having worked in a variety of clinical settings from stroke rehabilitation to orthopedic post-surgical rehabilitation. Since 2002, Marlene has focused on providing one-on-one high-quality manual therapy to her patients at Green Ridge Physical Therapy and Wellness. Marlene has committed many hours of continuing education to manual therapy classes including muscle energy and counterstrain and has become skilled in the application of Kinesio tape for pain relief, range of motion and post surgical edema.

Marlene is devoted to restoring health and believes the attainment of true health is achieving a "oneness" of mind, body and spirit. She strives to share her message of true health throughout the Sisters Community in many ways beyond her practice. Marlene has taught twice-weekly Pilates and Spinning classes as a certified instructor at a Sisters fitness center since 2003. Marlene embraces the Central Oregon lifestyle, climbing peaks throughout the Cascade Range, hunting mushrooms and huckleberries and enjoying anything outdoors "in this wildly beautiful landscape with all the clean air and boundless opportunity!" Marlene lives in Sisters with her two kitties, Bodie and Tater Tot.
