Monika Piatt, L. M. T.
Monika attended Sage School of Massage and Healing Arts in Bend, OR and joined the Green Ridge Team in 2011. Continuing Education classes include Bill Musser’s Deep Tissue for the Whole Body. Consequently, her primary focus is Deep Tissue and Therapeutic Massage for general or specific target areas.
Maintaining a physically active lifestyle, which includes hiking, running, skiing and paddling, kept postural issues to a minimum, during the decades of clerical work in the business world. However, the many benefits of receiving massage personally, as well as a heart to help other folks feel better – mind, body and spirit - inspired the pursuit of a career change in her late 40’s. She takes daily inspiration from a poem titled “A Massage Therapist’s Prayer”. The closing line reads: “At night, when day is done, let me rest in peace if I helped just one.”
As part of an outdoor-oriented family, she also witnessed the amazing healing results of massage combined with Physical Therapy. Her husband Lance and their son Torrey have both received treatment for various injuries and maintained restored wellness as patients at Green Ridge.
Monika feels doubly blessed to have a rewarding career and work at a facility with a reputation of excellence, in a community she has called home for 16 years.
Jonathan Kasabasic, B.S. L.M.T
Jonathan joined our staff in 2010. Born and raised in Canada
he came to the U.S. in 1993 to attend college in Tennessee. There he spent
5 years majoring in Corporate/Community Wellness Management with a double
minor in business and psychology. Post-graduate education included study
through the University of Arizona School of Integrative Medicine where he
capitalized on his interest in wholistic nutrition. Jonathan brings with
him a broad background in natural health and wellness as well as many years
of experience in personal fitness. Most recently he graduated at the the
top of his class in clinical massage therapy and now enjoys offering its
benefits to the public. He is a firm believer in integrative healthcare and
the balance that can be achieved by adopting it. In his academic and personal
life he has earned the reputation of someone who is thorough and desires
to exceed expectations.
He and his wife, Janelle, and daughter, Savannah, are relatively new to
Central Oregon and happy to call it home. If you ask him he'll tell you it
wasn't easy. As a native of British Columbia, he says "I've been blessed
to live where you can put something in the ground and see it grow".
A place he calls “God's country.”
Jonathan and his family are very involved at their local church and daughter's
school and find great reward in the lifelong friendships they have made.
His personal passion is music. His background includes many years of piano
and voice, and recently realized his dream of going to a recording studio.
He also enjoys "culinary adventures", being active outdoors, and
simply enjoying valuable time laughing with friends and family.
As an alternative healthcare practitioner, his goal is to help you achieve
your goal and leave a positive impact by any measure.
